Professor Yeti, world-famous expert, was born in Minneapolis in 2003. Well, not "born" ... created, really, by Teague Lyons, Doug Mack and Alex Starace. Having worked on various student newspapers at Carleton College, the three men decided that they missed the innate thrills and overwhelming stress of putting together a publication, so they recruited some fellow Carleton alums (and a few others) to help them, and set to work. Professor Yeti, the online magazine of elusive news and astute views, launched on January 14, 2004.

Content-wise, Professor Yeti focuses on esoteric news and commentary on a range of issues, infused with humor and yeti charm. We aim to amuse, inform and enlighten by presenting issues and perspectives from outside the usual "hard news" format.
